Selecting the Right Control Panel
Partitioned Systems
Sometimes businesses have multiple areas to protect and quite frequently may use those areas differently from one another. For example you might have a front office operating on one set of hours and a back warehouse operating on a completely different set of hours. In those instances, system partitioning may be recommended.
In alarm control panels that offer that capability, you can make one system operate as two or more systems simply through modified programming and an extra keypad for each separate area. Doing so allows a warehouse to stay armed when the office staff comes in early or stays in late. It’s simple and helps ensure employee safety in large buildings where someone may not be able to hear or know what’s going on in all parts of a facility.
